Review Policy

My focus at Sloth Reads is finding great books for young readers--from board and picture books to middle grade and young adult books. I will consider books for review from authors and publishers. However, due to my busy schedule, I can only accept a limited number of books.

Please contact me at rebecca.anne.herzog(at)gmail(dot)com with book review inquiries. I will try to respond as soon as possible. I accept most genres and welcome hardcovers, paperbacks, ARCs and e-books.

Review Timeline

I will do my best to review your book in a timely manner. Although I cannot guarantee a review within a certain time-frame, I will do my best to accommodate specific dates/time-frames, if one is requested.   

About my Reviews

When I share a book review on my blog, it is because I have read it and feel like it is a good book for young readers. I always look for the positive in a book. I do not include spoilers, but I may include a disclaimer if I feel like a book is not appropriate for all ages. I reserve the right to edit my reviews at any time.

 I do not receive monetary compensation for my reviews. The reviews on this blog are solely my own and I will always strive to provide a positive and honest review of your book. If I feel that I cannot post a positive review of your book, I will contact you and let you know.
